  • 4 oz smoked salmon, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon capers, drained
  • 1 small shallot, finely minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Bagel chips or sliced bagels, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream, mixing until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add the chopped smoked salmon, lemon juice, dill, capers, shallot, and Dijon mustard to the bowl.
  3. Gently fold all ingredients together until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Serve chilled with bagel chips or sliced bagels for dipping.

Notes

For extra texture, sprinkle some finely chopped red onion on top before serving or add a dash of hot sauce for a spicy kick.
