Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Beef

Tender, flavorful beef slow-cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for an easy and comforting meal any day of the week.

  • 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut into chunks
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chunks with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Place the beef in the slow cooker and pour the garlic butter mixture over the meat.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the beef is tender and easily shredded.
  5. Once cooked, shred the beef with two forks and stir well to coat in the sauce.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, serve over mashed potatoes or buttered noodles, and consider adding a splash of red wine to the sauce before cooking.
