Pistachio Lush Dessert is a creamy, layered treat featuring pistachio pudding, whipped cream, and crunchy pecans, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups whipped topping, divided
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, divided
  • 1 package (20 oz) yellow cake mix, baked and cooled

Instructions

  1. Bake yellow cake according to package instructions and allow to cool completely.
  2. Cut cake into small pieces and spread evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish.
  3. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping and 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Spread this mixture over the cake layer.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together instant pistachio pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Spread pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Top pudding layer with remaining whipped topping and sprinkle with remaining chopped pecans.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving to allow layers to set.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a splash of vanilla extract to the cream cheese mixture or garnish with crushed pistachios for a nutty crunch.
