Mini Mushroom Swiss Sliders

Delicious mini sliders topped with sautéed mushrooms and melted Swiss cheese, perfect for a savory bite-sized appetizer or casual meal.

  • 12 mini slider buns
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese, halved
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: lettuce, tomato slices, pickles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté onions and garlic until softened.
  3. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove and set aside.
  4. Form ground beef into 12 small patties, season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook patties in a hot skillet or grill for about 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness.
  6. Place cooked patties on the bottom halves of slider buns.
  7. Top each patty with sautéed mushrooms and half a slice of Swiss cheese.
  8. Assemble sliders with the top buns and place on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake in preheated oven for 5-7 minutes until cheese melts and buns are warm.
  10. Serve warm, optionally adding lettuce, tomato, or pickles.

Notes

For extra flavor, brush the buns with garlic butter before baking and serve with a side of Dijon mustard or aioli.
