Marry Me Tuscan Chicken

Freshly prepared Marry Me Tuscan Chicken on white plate

Marry Me Tuscan Chicken is a creamy, flavorful skillet dish featuring tender chicken breasts in a rich sun-dried tomato and garlic cream sauce, inspired by rustic Tuscan flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup baby spinach
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. Add chopped sun-dried tomatoes, oregano, and basil; cook for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  5. Pour in chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, simmering until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Add baby spinach and cook until wilted.
  8. Return chicken breasts to the skillet, spoon sauce over the chicken, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  9. Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.

Notes

Serve with crusty bread or over pasta to soak up the creamy sauce, and garnish with extra Parmesan for added richness.
