These Honey Sriracha Chicken Rice Bowls combine sweet and spicy flavors with tender chicken served over fluffy rice, perfect for a quick and flavorful dinner.

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 green onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, sriracha sauce, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken to skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
  5. Pour the honey sriracha sauce over the chicken and stir to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  6. Serve the chicken over cooked rice.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onion and sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, add some toasted chopped peanuts or serve with steamed vegetables on the side.
