  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place chicken thighs skin-side down and sear until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  7. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken thighs in the skillet.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce is bubbly.
  9. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, broil the chicken thighs for 2-3 minutes after baking. Serve with steamed rice or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
