Garlic Shrimp Bowl

A flavorful and easy-to-make Garlic Shrimp Bowl featuring succulent shrimp sautéed in garlic butter, served over a bed of rice and fresh vegetables for a satisfying meal.

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 cup broccoli florets, steamed
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat until melted and hot.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Stir in fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley, then remove from heat.
  5. To assemble the bowl, place the cooked jasmine rice at the base, top with steamed broccoli and cherry tomatoes.
  6. Arrange the garlic shrimp on top of the vegetables.
  7. Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle some crushed red pepper flakes on top or serve with a side of avocado slices for creaminess.
