Garlic Butter Lemon Salmon

A flavorful and easy-to-make garlic butter lemon salmon that is perfectly tender and infused with zesty citrus and savory garlic notes.

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and zest.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil. Brush each fillet with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the garlic butter lemon mixture evenly over the salmon fillets.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy warm.

Notes

Serve with steamed vegetables or a fresh green salad for a complete, healthy meal. Adding a sprinkle of red pepper flakes can give it a nice spicy kick.
