Chocolate Cheesecake

Rich and creamy chocolate cheesecake with a smooth chocolate crust and silky filling, perfect for any dessert lover.

  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 8 oz semisweet chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter; press mixture firmly into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Mix in sour cream, melted chocolate, vanilla extract, and salt until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the batter over the prepared crust and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55-60 minutes, until the edges are set and the center slightly jiggles.
  8. Turn off the oven and leave the cheesecake inside with the door slightly open for 1 hour.
  9. Remove from oven and cool completely at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

For an extra touch, garnish with fresh berries or a drizzle of chocolate ganache before serving.
