Creamy Beef Pasta

Creamy Beef Pasta is a comforting Italian-inspired dish that combines tender ground beef with a rich, velvety sauce and perfectly cooked pasta for a satisfying meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fusilli)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  5. Stir in dried Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer. Let it reduce slightly for about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook gently until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
  8. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is fully coated with the creamy beef sauce.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For a richer flavor, add a splash of white wine when simmering the beef broth and cream. Serve with a side of garlic bread for a complete meal.
