Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine fresh cranberries, chopped jalapeño, maple syrup, cream cheese, lime juice, and salt.
  2. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
  3. Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to meld flavors.
  4. Before serving, garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
  5. Serve chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

For a milder dip, remove all seeds from the jalapeño or substitute with a mild pepper. This dip pairs wonderfully with toasted baguette slices as well.
