Cheeseburger Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls

These Cheeseburger Sliders on Hawaiian Rolls feature juicy beef patties, melted cheese, and sweet, soft rolls for a perfect bite-sized comfort meal.

  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 6 slices cheddar cheese, halved
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 small dill pickle slices
  • Butter, melted (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with chopped onions, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form the mixture into 12 small patties, about the size of the rolls.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  5. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  6. Place a cooked patty on each roll bottom, top with a half slice of cheddar cheese and a pickle slice.
  7. Cover with the top halves of the rolls and brush melted butter over the tops.
  8. Bake sliders in the oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese is melted and tops are slightly golden.
  9. Remove and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, add caramelized onions or a dash of barbecue sauce before baking.
