Cake Mix Cookies

Delightfully soft and chewy Cake Mix Cookies made quickly with a simple cake mix base, perfect for an easy and delicious treat any time.

Ingredients

  • 1 box cake mix (any flavor, 15.25 oz)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, and vegetable oil. Stir until a soft dough forms.
  3. If desired, fold in the chocolate chips evenly.
  4. Drop tablespoon-sized scoops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are set and slightly golden.
  6. Remove from oven and let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a softer cookie, slightly underbake and allow them to cool on the baking sheet. Try mixing in nuts or dried fruit for added texture and flavor.
